this is the last year he can be rookie listed isn't it?

needs to prove he is worthy of a senior spot

Last year was his last year - hence why he was delisted.  He has been re-drafted on the rookie list so as far as I understand he can spend another 3 years on the rookie list until he has to be delisted or upgraded.

oh okay

i knew that you could only be on a rookie list for 3 years until you are delisted or promoted to senior list

but wasnt sure about the re-drafting rules

Yeah you have 3 years then you have to be Elevated/Delisted

Many clubs just redraft them though because they can't/don't want to elevate them
