Is Porplyzia worth the risk? He is very cheap for his quality, but he gets injured every year without fail.

Worth the risk? or better of going for a cheaper rookie?

If you are happy with the rest of your team and you have the cash should get him he won't be a keeper but will make some good coin hopefully

Torress

yea mate - probably the best choice out of the midpricers this year. he really is a handy type of player!

Just get a rookie, porps has never been a great fantasy scorer even when hes not injured

He kicked 4 goals on the weekend for 100 supercoach according to Al Paton. Will he always have to kick a bag like this to crack triple figures?

Do you think he'll kick 100 goals for the season? I'm leaning towards NO

triple figures in supercoach. each week.

For the cash outlay I'm taking the risk. As long as he can make some money I'll be happy

Jay

forget about the 100s...id be happy with him scoring 80+ each week? And he has more chance of doing that than any rookie!

Nah it's right. His best return ever has been an avg of 87.

The Bomber

porp is a player where either you get the unlucky 40 in the middle of a good run (where he avg 87)...or a 100 in the middle of a crap run (40's in a row)

given he is injury prone i wouldnt get him...

dont look too much into the NAB cup, he probably doesn't have the most experienced defender on him like he would in a season match, but seeing him hit the contests hard is a good sign

im staying off him

Yeah ya would, but that was his BEST return over 6 years! He has only played a full season once.
Since 2006 his averages have been: 61.4, 65.1, 86.2, 87, 70.6, and 13.

Probably worth the risk but personally i would rather go 115k cheaper on a rookie who will average 70 and use the cash elsewhere.

PICCOLLO

The extra job security and bigger body, not to mention he is a major target down there is worth the extra 100k.  Ill take his 80 avg.  by round 7, he'll be wearing a fremantle jumper and go by the name pavlich.
