I have a 3 prem - 3 rook structure but have enough money to pick one of these guys as my m4 which i think would help my scores at the start of the year (believe they can be up around the 90ppg mark) as well as make me cash! let me know what you think and if you have another option around the same price leave a comment below

Both are looking the goods but I'd go Big John. Masten has always been a big pre-season performer but always seems to get injured or is just plain useless when the season proper starts. He did start to blossom late last year so he could be on the up and could well prove his doubters wrong.

I'm very interested in John McCarthy. He seems to be racking up the stats in the preseason, although I haven't actually seen him play. Was a fringe player at Collingwood for 4 years and probably would have gotten more games if it wasn't for their great midfield. Last year he played rounds 9, 10, 11 and 12 and averaged around 85, then got stuck with the red vest for a few games.

At 22 years old in a team where he should see plenty of game time, I reckon he could average a solid 85-90 and make some good money. Starting at 280k isn't a bad price either! But I would love to hear some Port Adelaide fan's views on him

Both too expensive for my liking - I'll roll the dice with some rookies, some (probably not all) of which will score just as well as these two will.
