I need an M8 and F8 unique to finish my team. Any suggestions from left field? Have a huge bucket of cash that has $233k in it.

Which Smith? Devon or Clay? You could do worse than whichever one you don't have! Also, Pfeiffer, Smedts fwd... As for mids, don't forget Sam Gibson...

Clay smith/Dev Smith/Shiel/Clifton/Stevens for Mid

Dev Smith/Pfeiffer/Zorko/Smedts for Fwd

Take your pick really.

Top 2 IMO would be Shiel/D.Smith for mids (or Clifton if that's D.Smith that you already have)
Smedts/Zorko for Fwd

Agree with all, but correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Zorko injured & hasn't played a game all preseason...? Also, as a Cats fan & having watched preseason games I'm a little concerned that Smedts may be a be a bit of a turnover merchant... Might be harsh, but def a concern for me.

Zorko should be back by round 2-3. Round 4 at the latest.
Downgrade option for sure - however, as with all rookies, jump on if named round 1.

I honestly rate Smedts. I think he'll be a good cow this season. (I hope it's not a case of famous last words! ;D)
