With the money i have available i can either have the combination of... Porpas at F5/Lake at D5... OR eliminate the mid price risky players and take Dangerfield at F5/Rookie at D5.

Colliwobblers

option 2. I have rookie ruck and only 3 premium mids so i have the luxury of having hargrave over lake in def 5 and porps in fwd 6 as well as dangerfield in fwd 5 but for your situation dangerfield is a must have on current form and price for a fwd lock him in.

danger/rook seems to look better in writing but my backline looks short with a rookie at d5.
ill let the votes keep rolling in

i currently have Lake at D4 and Danger at F5

porps and lake both underpriced capable of scoring 100's Patrick Dangerfield ($435,400 fwd/mid) followed up his best-on-ground display against Brisbane last weekend with another 23 touches and a goal (111 SC points). He seems to now be a midfielder who can do damage in bursts up forward, rather than the other way around - great news for SuperCoaches.

Suddenly a lot of Crows seem great value, headed by Jason Porplyzia ($229,600 fwd) who bagged four goals and scored 100 SuperCoach points - and got through a full game without suffering a serious injury.

Are we looking too much into the nab cup though? I know its all we have to base current form on but i wonder if it will all go out the window when teams are having a red hot crack

well this week will be a great chance to see how the crows are going for real but with porps lake and others coming back from injury it is about making sure they are right to play, move well contest well etc and all signs are good there bit hard to tell how well danger is going as they havent come up against a strong midfield for a full game yet but the eagles will be trying to win so gf should be good to look at danger masten sloane and others

Lake and Porplezia.
At 435k Danger is already 75k more expensive than he was at any stage last year and for someone with a history of scoring 60s-80s I'm not interested. I've had him as a break-out player in the past and aren't going there again.

yea i actually had him at the beginning of last year and he let me down but he always does show glimpses of the sort of footy he can play. Maybe this year is the year he gets that consistency. I think going with danger/rookie is less risk than porpas/lake but porpas/lake could be very rewarding if they can both play well

That was last year this is this year. Like dustin Martin i think we expect these young guys to go up a few notches now that they are a year older.

This poll was 5-0 in favour of danger/rookie now everyones jumping on board  porpas/lake just to make it difficult for me!
