That's what I meant. I probably should have said that. But anyway with all the whining about how people should kick straight. I thought it would be appropriate to get some kind of goal specific icon. We have numerous icons for ball possession, why not one for goal kicking? That ultimately wins games.

Going on this, maybe a lock for a Defender who has shut out a forward (no goals kicked against them). Just an idea to get some icons other than for the ball magnets :P.

Precisely why I want some icons for other areas of the game.

A defender who has kept a fwd to no goals would be a good icon. But there is already a padlock for when some one is getting tagged....

I'd say Taggers are less in the game, and if they are it's more so to shut down players from getting the ball rather than scoring. But I forgot the lock is already taken :(. Back to the drawing board.

The problem is it is very hard to design icons that are clearly identifiable in just a 10x10 pixel space

You would have seen the witches hat and rock icons which go some way to addressing this. I do not like a rifle sight due to obvious violent connotations. I agree an icon for accurate goal kicking would be good but what concept? Archery bullseye is one possibility.

What represents good accuracy.....Archery bulls eye, dart board...An apple with an arrow in it.... :P

I like that. But in some instances it's unfair to say a FWD single handle won a game for his team. The ball has to get to him first.

But all the same I like it. What about an eye. As in, he was a dead eye in front of goals....But I don't think it would look that great.

But there really should be an icon for goal kicking. Just dunno what would be the best fit.

what about a bullseye if a player is kicking a ridiculous amounts of goals, or insanely difficult goals + behinds etc. :P

I said that if you look up a few posts. An icon for kicking goals is a must IMO.
