So rhys palmer seems to be ready to step it up to the next level this year... Is he worth a 5th mid spot?? So my current mids are GAJ, Rockliff, Mitchell, Stanton, Palmer, Miles with magner and clay smith on the pine...

In order to do this it means dropping the big Hmac and starting redden or giles on the field.

Thoughts guys?? ;D

Thanks in advance

Not worth it IMO.
How come? do you not think he is capable of 105ppg average??

Jukes

Very not worth it. Not worthy of a premium.

It's not worth taking the risk on someone if you have to make big changes to your team, especially when the guy isn't proven (IMHO)...

The F.A.R.K.

there are so many mid priced mids to be tempted by but if you are an experienced dter you will know that mid priced mids are just not worth the risk

i.e masten, sloane, palmer, ebert, mcarthy, polec ect

you might think they will break out and they fool you with nab cup form and then you get killed during the season

mids have to be guns and rooks

liam shiels? averaged in the 50's two years in a row then boomed up to an average of 100

Jack Redden? averaged 62, 79, third year averaged 110

Tom Rockliff? (only played 1 match first year, 23) averaged 87 second year, third year 112

Fyfe went from 70 to 98 in his second year

There is A LOT of potiental in mid priced mids, you just have to pick the right players because if you don't your stuffed and if you want to win the car, they're the risks you have to take

I think the only mid-pricer capable of a breakout significant enough to force his way into my team is Dangerfield, maybe Masten.
