saw he scored 73 DT v nth, did he look good? should he re-enter calculations?

Rowan1812

He scored 73 in 3 quarters and went off at 3qt. He looked good and should definitely be considered.

I wonder how he would have gone against Petrie? People aren't taking the opposition into account in nab cup.

^ some people are also not taking into account THAT IT IS THE NAB CUP!

Capper

take a chill pill MGK, Lake looked good even though it was NAB, if he fits in your strategy then get him

sid3bysid3

Don't rate the score, rate the way he moved, read the ball in the air and had some swagger about him

nathan11

David king commentating said it looks like lake is enjoying his footy again so that's good signs

Lake will probably never play against the premo forwards like Petrie, Cloke etc.  He will be assigned a 2nd or 3rd forward to free him up for when the Dogs are coming out of defence.

He will just play on who he matche up on best ofthe happens to be the number 1 forward then he will play on them. Like he used to with richo for eg. It's defense before offense back there remember.

i'f he plays a full game next week, i'm going to find it hard to ignore him. he is looking solid. at his best it didn't reallly matter who he was on he got a bit of ball. you don't get points against for goals kicked on.

Like Kieran Harper for the Kangaroos (Saturday's match-up) ???  I thought McCartney was implementing a Hawthorn style possession game in defence. i.e. free up the best ball users to move the ball forward.
