Yay
Nay

Im tossing up between cox and mummy as my 1st ruck to go with hmac and i cant decide which one will be better for my time. HEELLPPP!! please vote

cox has proved over the nab cup that he is worth every cent. my only concern would be that cox and hmac share the same bye.
Im taking a serious look at ivan maric over hmac for that mid price ruck position. He has looked dominant over the nab cup especially yesterday would have scored around 120 in supercoach

I'm giving this one some thought too. I'd like to pick Cox, but a few people have said that Worsfold has mentioned he will be rested at times this year. Although I think if Mummy plays 20+ games this year he will average about the same as Cox

Any specific link of this from Worsfold?  Does it mean rested in the Fwd line?

He's an elite player, ruck, midfielder and big man in FF.

Tossing up, Cox and Mummy. If these words were uttered in the same sentence outside the context of DT and SC, you'd probably be arrested. But here at fanfooty, they're all the rage! It's going to be tough to squeeze Cox into a side that includes Mummy also.... the benefits could be huge though.

I don't have any hard evidence, but some of the guys in this thread mentioned it:

Apparently it was Embley that said it actually, but could possibly mean nothing at all!

Nic Nats a good burst ruck atm till he develops, Cox will still be viable, He is simply the best ruck in the comp.

thanks for the jfitty for following this up. :)

Both Cox and Mummys runs look hard at the end of the seaon, while North's Ruck look to have it easier.  Perhaps at the end Hmac will be fitter and Goldie will be rested more for him to take a more dominate role.  Where are you captain foresight? I need you now not in round 23....

I think you have to ask yourself one question. Do You love your mummy or do you love cox more?

enzedder

Cox is worth it. He was last year. His NAB form shows he's still the goods. If your opponent has him and you don't you'll be worried if going for league...he is still clearly the no 1 ruck so the money you save by not getting him and consequently spend elsewhere better be well spent...just get him.

107 dt points at 3/4 time yesterday says get on the big cox

Capper

cox by a head, both will pout up good numbers but cox will have more of a chance to increase his numbers then Mummy.

Mummy will kill it at SCG though, alot more ball ups there

Big_Cox14

Cox is the number 1 priced ruck for a reason. He gets midfield like scores. Very few rucks can score like Cox can.

Mind u Mummy can also pull out monster scores and is one to consider giving the captaincy in rd 1.

Though, you can't go wrong with either one.

If possible I would try to fit both in your team if structure permits. Otherwise, Cox is the man!
