Re-shuffled things to make a stronger midfield...any obvious changes i'm missing?

DEF: J Bowden; B Goddard; M Clarke; J Adcock ; N Malceski; A Raines; S Hill (A Rance; N Suban)

MID: G Ablett; K Cornes; B Gibbs; T Tuck; P Hasleby; D Rich (P Dangerfield; D Beams)

RUCK: D Cox (C); D Jolly (J White; J Spencer)

FWD:  B Deledio; B Harvey; B Fevola; P Vezspemi; S Lucas; S Higgins; J Ziebel (S Gumbleton; M Brown)

60K left in salary cap

bluebaggas

out: bowden, malceski, adcock
in: r houlihan, drummond, houli

now youve got 150g in and bank and i think, a better backline

Vespremi for Yarran, Lucas for another rookie (Ballantyne or Thorp or even a Hentschel or Walker). Move Fev up to at 400k+ and anything left over upgrade Clarke or Adcock.

Bluebaggas I wouldn't reccommend Houli for DT, he is an SC player. But you are on the right track. Bowden is a slow starter and overpriced. Downgrade here. There are also better mid priced backmen than Marty Clarke.
T. Tuck is a good call but don't expect 22 games. McGlynn, Morton, Stokes, Kennedy and Whitecross will continue to challenge for his spot all year.
Better premiums available than Fev, a stay at home FF who will score badly when the Blues have a bad game.

So you think starting 3 rookies in the FWD line is wise? Ballantyne is currently injured and will most likely miss the first couple of rounds aswell.
Can't see how 3 rookies is a good idea. There will be times when only 1 or possibly none of them play.

I think this side looks pretty good. a couple of players that not ever tom, dick and harry has selected. i like it. Everyone seems to be having very similar teams this year.

Was that close to an 8 / 10 starting line-up?
