What do you think of my team?

i have made lots of changes and will do so until the season starts. what do you think at the moment?

DEFENSE: Goddard, Broughton, Duffield, Hargrave, Connors, Clarke, Ellis,( Spurr,  Morris, )

MIDFIELD: Swan, Ablett, Watson, Van Berlo, wingard, magner, (Neale, Mcdonald)

RUCKS: Mcevoy, Jacobs,( Giles, Big O)

FOWARDS: Franklin, Fyfe, Martin, Sidebottom, Dangerfield, Porplyzia, Butcher, (Pfieffer, Smedts)

the lads in red are the ones im really not sure about. thoughts?

Not too bad, i definetly wouldn't go with connors. I like Dangerfield, but i am not sold on van berlo, better options up. maybe downgrade butcher upgrade van berlo to a premo mid. Maybe trade down one of your rucks and upgrade connors. needs some work, but not too bad

Think you need to get the red texta out for Pfeiffer, Wingard, Neale, Spurr and Magnet aswell.

I can think of 4 GWS rooks I'd take ahead of Wingard as it stands. Looks like Neale wont be making an appearance until Week 2 or 3 if m0nty's prognosis is correct.  We'll have to wait and see how badly Magnet has buggered up his hand. Morris being left out of the Richmond side this weekend was worrying, there aren't exactly a lot of options down back to choose from. It's been so hard to formulate a team this pre season with the best rookie options changing almost daily. I'm thinking the DT site will go into meltdown after the Rd.1 teams are named...

I like the Butcher pick, mainly because my Port mates are always talking him up. The biggest knock on him though is the lack of work he does when the ball hits the deck, so if he doesn't kick 4+ goals a week then you might be stuck with some low scores.

Your side probably has 2-3 too many mid pricers right now. If it was me I would downgrade Jacobs, Connors and one out of Porps or Butcher. That will give you about $550,000 plus whatever you have left over already (?). Plenty of cash to spend on a premium defender and any other upgrades you might fancy...
