Malceski looked good tonight, thoughts 360k could be worth a look

Would not even look at him. There are better options in the backline. He has had to many injury issues and at that price he is not worth the risk. If he is killing it in the first couple of rounds he might be a trade in option.

MC

Well by that logic R Shaw is a lock!

T Dog

Has been holding his leg apparently

My Chumps

Did look very very good tonight, but not touching mid-pricers bar Christensen.

15 touches with 15 kicks in a half of footy. History shows when he's fit he's firing. Gotta hope that knee stays together all year

Legen...DARY

101 SC points in only 1 half of footy!!!

Would be a ballsy pick, but huge reward for a massive risk.

Grannyboy

I just wouldn't trust his knee and wouldn't even think of putting him in.

This same topic was much debated in 2010. His knee held up and he was top 5 defender that season. I think he's worth the punt at this stage. Need to hav some semi unique picks

He was also a lot cheaper in 2010 if I remember correctly.

nib

Think he was like low 200k back then

I'm thinking I might take the punt...by taking Malceski instead of Heppell I can afford Porplezia instead of having a rookie in F5 place...my fwds were looking very thin. The danger of course is I now have two risky types but both Malceski and Porps are cheap and enjoying a good pre season.
From my perspective, Malceski & Porps reads better than Heppell and rookie (Tommy Walsh made way given he has done SFA so far in the NAB)...Any feedback on this would be welcomed :D
Malceski's worth the risk I think...22 games in 2010 at 96 average...7games at 120+... and in 2011 didn't play until R9ish and had two games late in the season with 14 and 16 pts that impacted on his average making him cheap as chips for this year. For what he can offer he is hard to pass up given recent form.

fever

i like it enzed.

i think porps is impossible to ignore. he's just too cheap for the potential return that if he does break down it's not the end of the world. i have both him and eski atm too.

Torress

not sure if the ''horse'' longmire is a big fan. roos was!

he is a risky pick not just because of his body, you essenitally pick him in the place of a premo for that price. with no tadgh kennelly and armstrong not cherry ripe will this guy bounce back. hasn't done much wrong yet. he is just plain awkward for price and durability.
if he was under 300k.....
