"Northern Territory police attended a disturbance at Little Sisters Town Camp on the outskirts of Alice Springs overnight.

"On arrival police found a 35-year-old man with serious head injuries alleged to have been inflicted by a machete," a police spokesperson told the AFL website.

"Two men aged 23 years are currently in police custody with investigations continuing.""

Meh. He's a hack anyway. Not much chop at all. He has a bit of talent, and can carve up teams that don't pay him enough attention. But i've seen him shank too many shots in his time.

The important q is do Melbourne now get another rookie spot if jurrah is out for 3-5 years?

Are you serious?

"No charges have been laid"

I doubt Jurrah was dumb enough to be the person with the machete

Maybe but they don't keep you in custody for jaywalking.

TheMailman

True.

But he could easily just be a witness to the incident

Good play on words there Puss Puss. Seems like you're pretty much cut up about the whole thing. I'll go for a stab in the dark here, was he your unique or am I swinging a golf club way off course, or slashing the green.

You're right. I was 50/50 if i was going to get him. Leaning towards not getting him, because he was probably going to be the first player ever to be suspended for chopping the arms in a marking contest.
