What's the go with Lids? He's not playing again this week, the tiges are denying serious injury... not much game time pre-season though?!?!? I know that he's excellent, but will he be in and out of the side in the early rounds?

PICCOLLO

Still another NAB week to go.  Panic when he's not named for round 1.  I think it was worse than they said but he should be good for normal season.

Better options to start the year with atm... definite upgrade target

Depends how you look at it I guess, Shaw will score more than Lids, I like Broughton this year and have him in over Lids, Birchall will score high, and yes, Scotland and Goddard... Lids will not score more than last year, so he will lose 20% off the bat and if you want to spend over half a mil on a player who hasn't played preseason bc of soft tissue injures than be my guest.

Would you risk deledio in a nab cup game if you were the richmond coach? teams are carefull with their guns, there is no gain to be made by risking him. He is in the elite fitness levels at the club and is richmonds most polished player. This will have minimal affect, if any. Will firing on all cylinders round 1. Lock him in

what are you basing that on? Its well documented that lids will spend more time in the mid. Has potential.to score more than any of those players appart from maybe goddard. And no pre season? He was in the top few in all time trials, agility and skills drills and is running now.. Missing 3 nab cup games isnt gonna hurt that. Of you havent noticed everyteam has either rested alot of their guns or they have played minimal game time. Nab cup means nothing to elite players

Upgrade target with no preseason under his belt. Newman playing more midfield time as well, pumps out huge SC scores.

Agree with alex, Lids is definitely an upgrade target and get on Newman in the meantime!

Capper

Has got 5 tough games to start the season so def an upgrade target for me. probably will play week1

coolfugitiv0

Defenders usually score more against tough opponents where the ball is in the back half more often. Correct me if
I'm wrong.

Lids did have a preseason and a good one he just tweaked a hammy 3 weeks ago, He won't play NAB but will be a bit underdone for round 1, Was training with the midfield group b4 his injury, Upgrade target i wanna see how his hammy goes in the first 8 weeks ;-)

Guts feel says hes this years Goddard

Slow start, winding up to great finish

Its not about the fixture as i think good teams help defenders, its more just a gut feel

Hes out for Newman for mine for the start
