BratPack

he's been in the midfield a lot. Lyon seems to like his hard work in the tackle and the like. I think he has to be a lock on what I've seen so far

Hard to say. Mundy and Barlow still need to return. Ballantyne is going to play allot in the midfield. Micheal Johnson seems to be the man they want creating out of the back. I think Broughts will have another frustrating season for DT. I can see him playing multiple roles like usual. Roller coaster.

He's been in the midfield. Even with the return of Barlow and Mundy I can still see him scoring well of the hbf with occasional stints on the ball. I strongly doubt he'll be consigned to the back pocket once those above mentioned names return.

But, if there was ever a time to get on him it would be now before Mundy and Barlow return fully from injury.

I think he will start in the midfield and be moved to defence when those players return.

Will be very very interesting to see how Ross uses him. He certainly hasn't had any trouble finding the footy during the pre season. I think he's a lock if he plays midfield. If he plays back, who knows?

Word from the west today was that Ballantine is training and playing through the guts at least until Barlow is up and going

Hopefully we can have at least barlow up and running in 1 game before the nab finishes. With broughton im probably going to leave him out and if he kills it i will trade him in. If any of my risky picks fail in clarke, malceski or Hargreaves fail i will try and go up to him. On a side note i dont know why knowone is looking at ballateyne.

I am actually considering ballantyne, but it's either him or Christensen, and leaning more toward Christensen right now, unless ballantyne holds/improves form for the remainder of NAB.

The F.A.R.K.

yeah dunno how it will be in actual season???

Duffield, Broughton, Grover, Silvagni, Suban even maybe lachie neale might line up in that running back role.....i also reckon it might get rotated

Colliwobblers

ironic i will likely start Neale as my only docker, 3 guns cannot be sure of from the start in Barlow, Mundy, Broughton. add to that the Morabito dissapointment so he sits out too. Maybe Duffman can be counted on from round 1?

Ballantyne is an unknown, so many others in the price bracket he is down the list a little but i'm watching him too.

FYfe now he's in, PAV not a bad pick but "manage him to prolong his career?" and Sandi? Rest him to keep him in one piece?

New Coach? makes what would have been a team with potentially the most players picked from it for fantast Footy very hard to do now...

I think he will play there all year. He is more explosive then anyone else in the midfield and that's exactly why Lyon wants him there. His short stature and explosive speed off the mark will have him crumbing off Sandilands bung toe all season imo. With Neale Mellington Pitt all playing very well, i highly doubt Balla will be needed to perform his old role. Freo are a much more dangerous side when Balla gets plenty of pill.

4INAROW

do freo have any rookie elevation spots?
