Is he in your starting team?

Yes, He's a gun!!
Hell No! Don't want to risk it.
Maybe

Deledio was one of the first players locked in my team upon creation and when I heard of his injury, he was dropped just as quickly. Now it looks like he's going to play 1 NAB game and should be right for R1. Obviously i'm going to watch very closely in the NAB match (if he actually does play), but I am still having some doubts.

Apparently it's his first soft tissue injury ever, which is a good thing, but quite a few players get re-injured and just aren't the same when they get back re: Jobe watson 2011.

I'm still in 2 minds about him at this stage, because if fully fit he will dominate especially with more mid time, but is he worth the risk or is it better to pick another premo?

I got scared and have delisted him. might upgrade to him at a later stage but scared for early rounds

Jobe to average 110 this year!

boo-yaa

definatly an upgrade target after his pre-season and draw.

Torress

i still think he is a lock.

hey come on, never had a soft tissue injury?? i bet he has over trained and tweaked a few things here and there.
absolutely nothing to worry about, he'll be fine IMO come round 1 -  NAB is only really good for rooks and role changes. lids has averaged 100 playing half back, in the guts and half forward!

BratPack

He's in at the moment....but I do admit I'm wavering ever so slightly....If I get a whiff of something more he may fall out of my side

boo-yaa

really ??? i don't think he has ever averaged 100 buddy.

true but in SC he has. i gotta stop jumping on this DT area i don't even play it!!!

cant see why he should be a lock infront of goddard and scotland, but as the third backman sure why not.
its out of delidio, shaw, enright, carrots maybe broughton for D3.
i wouldnt worry about his injury anymore than worry about shaw going to the TAB or broughton playing a lockdown role or carrots being a tagger.
the only thing that may be a concern (its the same argument that some people have for not starting with Martin)  is the hard draw early. then look at delidio as an upgrade target, but either way he will be in the top 6 best scoring defenders by season's end.
he's been in and out of my team many times(atm hes out, just because of structure)

Agree with this sentiment. He's always been behind Scotland, Goddard and Shaw for me - his injury just confirmed my choice. Still a worthy upgrade target, though.

As good as Deledio is I don't believe he's a lock. I'm reluctant to pick anyone that is half baked coming into round 1 and I'd much rather pick a Shaw/Birchall/Fisher in his place and see how he starts the season. If he rips it up than you shouldn't lose too much by having say a Heater in his place, than you can work on getting him in.

With a strained hammy it's a risk, If you want a Tiger then try Newman or maybe go with an Adcock or Johncock both having rnd 11 byes as well no conflict with the regulars

I wouldnt say that i got scared but with 5 tough games to start the year i am looking at him after his bye, especially with his injury

newman is not a Dt'er, only consider him in SC.
also you cant really put johncock and delidio in the same class, stiffy will struggle to avg. 80+, so will be atleast 10 points behind delidio

PowerBug

I don't see why anyone wouldn't have him, unless they have 3 of Ellis, Conca, Morris and Houli.

Lock for me.
