should I take a risk on bower or even webberley or go with ellis?

Jay

Definitely leaning towards any of webberley and ellis over bower.

Have you forgotten about morris, he will play more than all those guys since he has a more mature body

already have him

Ellis has elite disposal and decision making aswell as endurance, makes for a pretty good running defender if you ask me. i would get him from those 3.

bower has terrible JS right?

voted ellis

Richmond targeted morris and ellis to shore up their backline. This enables Delidio and Newman (2 of their better players and users of the ball) to move into the midfield. Ellis apparently has a great kick and is apparently doing most of the kicking out which points to good JS.

Which doesn't exactly translate to Lids/Newman playing consistently in the mids. They may go for a casual stroll through the guts every other week, but don't bank on it being consistent. (They will still both average 100ish across HB)

Deledio will play consistently in the midfield Newman won't but as a few have mentioned it doesn't matter Newman has always scored well in defense anyway. Deledio will improve his scores significantly with a midfield role. Expect many 30+ games with a goal or 2. His clearance work will also be pivotal and is another reason to finally get him in the midfield so Richmond can get first hands on the ball and into roo and vickery with nahas and king crumbing.
