Who do you think will be a better potential keeper of these two?

Ive gone with Dangerpants

Ive had Sidebum in my team all summer long, but in fine tuning, I just see too much competition for points in the DroppedPies team.

This will be a constant issue for sidebums scoring unless a few of Pendles, Swan, Daisy, Cloke, Shaw & Ball go down with injury...of course we dont want that to happen.

Who are Dangerpants consistant high point thieves? Thommo?...maybe VB?

Have a look at the top 5 SC point scorers for each side...Collingwood is dominated by the top 5, The Cows seems a more even spread amongst the top 10

Just seems a lot easier for Dangerpants to score well

What are peoples obsessions with dangerfield. Every year there is all this hype over him and he always lets you down. How is this year any different. He is not a consistent scorer. Sidebottom will only get better this year with more time in the midfield and because collingwood win a lot, he is more likely to score well.

Dangerfield plays in the forward line a lot (too much) which brings his scores down. If he has a full year in the mids (and he might with a new coach) his score will increase by 10-20points. If he plays the majority of the NAB in the mids get on him

the fact that danger has no-one to take points off him won't matter, which quality adelaide players took points of him last year?

s.thompson is the only bloke who would get a game in a local side, that's it.

danger is capable of a 105ppg avg imo only if he plays purely mid.

Rowan1812

They always say he will play in the mids and yet always goes back to the forward line. Not enough quality players to take points of him? Sloane, Thompson, Vince, just to name a few. He will spend most of his time in the forward line so you will suffer when he does.

I can't decide so I currently have both. However, I'm not too convinced on either. I may end up downing danger to porp and upgrading sidearse

Dangerfield could rip it up and it's a risk quite a few are willing to take.

Given the criticism he's copped despite last year's average of 80+, he's got a lot of upside.

I think people's expectations have been far too high, hence their bitter disappointment in him.

A nice draw with a lot of potential makes him worth the risk. If he 'disappoints' again and only averages a measly 80, then trade out with no loss.

If he improves even a bit you're sitting pretty with a F6 averaging mid 90's.

it seems as if a lot of SCers will have dangerfield, sidebottom could be the more unique pick to avoid the crowd

Go the Dangermouse. He's set for a massive year.

Sideys consistent and coming off a HFF last year averaged 84 with more mid time this year he's gonna go up close to 100 ave this year
