Finals Dreamteam

Just looked on the AFL website and saw there is a finals dreamteam.
Decided to make a league just for the hell of it.
Any1 can join, but preferably only ppl from FF.

I Joined, Does this go into September finals or just the remaining home and away rounds? I havent done finals dt before so it"ll be good to know a bit about it.

In the past, it has started when AFL finals start (and DT finals have ended). You only get to choose players in the matches to be played, so you always have a fair chance of a full team every week. Come the GF, there's only 2 teams to choose players from, and you get to choose from all of them for your whole team!

It keeps the dream team idea going for the rest of the season - I love it for that! When you think its time to plan for 2010, there's still some interest in 2009, and we all need that!

A bit of fun, no salary cap as I recall. If you love your DT, don't miss out - it's a chance to use all you've learned about how fantasy footy is different to the real thing.

m0nty, if you can manage it, I urge a special section or thread, just for the DT finals competition, PLEASE!

Cheers for that Prospector, definitely agree that this is a great comp to keep the dt interest there.

And Monty agree with Prospector a dedicated thread regarding finals dream team would be excellent.
