Couldnt find much on this bloke around here.

I didnt get to see the Cats game on the weekend.....

Is he doing a shutdown role this year?

Is a good age

Was on the fringe of the team last year playing 11 games

With the retirement of a few players would he be playing moar this year?

fever

i expect him to be in n out of the team, say 14ish games. hogan is touted as the new lingy

Bosh

Not really a Sc option.

He did indeed play trough the midfield and had the tagging job on Ablett, was quite impressive and played his role exactly like the Cats hoped as far as i understand!

I think he could be a great pick for SC actually if he plays the role in mind, contested possies, clearances & tackles follow in this position.

Bloody awesome stuff Hippo

I generally ignore the who cares cup, but there are a few factors here that cant be ignored

With the departure of a few...a few will step up

Guthrie was another but this bloke seems more assured to get consistant games....I guess smedts and orrie will slot straight in also...thats about the replacements me thinks

Hippo

I think I will give him a go actually, if named rd1. A midfield player that you can select in the backs that plays for the cats Mmmm I think that will work.

If I get the pick wrong I will trade for Guthrie on the bubble, I think one will fire out of the 2 and the price is good

My backline has gone from 3 starting rookies to none, it's scary how much the nab can change ya team in a few weeks!

He will play the whole season. Worth a look.

I'm on him. Should do well

He played very well against GC last weekend. He is one of those mid priced players I had my eye on last season. There are a few open spots in Geelongs team with the retirements they have had. The Ling job is up for grabs and it is between him and Hogan. It will be one of those moves you will have to make just before Round 1. Not much that has not already been said. He does have a cleaner disposal compared to Hogan who looks to butcher the ball by foot.

he started last season up on the wing believe it or not and was doing well until he injured his knee i think it was. came back later in the season and slotted into the half back line. has a good left boot on him. injury free i reckon he's a decent chance to play 20+ games this year.

I myself and also trying to pick out of guthrie and hunt. i think smedts might possibly be the sub candidate for geelong more times that not. can play at either end of the ground and has very good agility. makes a perfect sub option IMO haha :(
