Why don't you have him? (Pick 2)

Too old
Too inconsistent
Won't average 105+
Waiting until his price drops and pick him up after Geelong's bye
Shower bloke
Can't find the $$$ to afford him
I actually have him in my team

I don't understand... this guy averaged 107 last year and has a massive ceiling of 171 (which he scored twice), I know his price will go down over the first few rounds ... but he's still going to average 100+ and be the #1 FWD

a lot of teams are starting with Scotland and Cox... so why not Stevie J?

and who do you think the top 5 FWD's will be and what will they average in 2012?

BGK

It's the same reason a lot of people are off Cox. It's his price.

Plus I've heard a rumour that he didn't come back in great shape this year. A rumour that may have no substance.

Would you rather:
Stevie J + Kerridge
or
Sidebottom + Porplyzia

T Dog

Stevie J and Selwood locked since day 1

Justin Bieber

He's just overpriced. You can similar options for 50k less.

mezzoculo

I'm holding off until he actually plays a pre-season game or two. Difficult to judge until then.

essendon2

he didnt play any last year either!

Maybe not in the NAB cup, but I saw him run around against the Blues (at Princes Park) in a practice match after Geelong had been knocked out of the tournament proper.

Be interesting to see how those hot Cat rookies go with the vets back in the forward line.

mate buddy is looking too good to pass up as a starter. and i can't go past fyfe still.

and all the solid dpp forwards we can choose just make it too hard to fit in stevie J with buddy and fyfe locked atm.
i reckon it would be buddy no.1 forward this year but thats just personal opinion.

yea i heard he didn't come back the fittest. but yeah prob no substance with it.

i think chappy and allen christianson are stepping up their case making stevie J less popular as well

Great.  He always destroys us. >>

the big reason im not getting him is the average is bumped up by his 2 huge games, im not sure if he can repeat that and if he does its unlikely to be later in the season when they play GWS, GC and Port. I dont think he wil be the highest averaging forward and because he is priced at that and the fact Pav and sidebottom present much better value , there is no chance im starting him.  i will probably be happy to pick him up after round 9 when he is primed to get a hge score against GWS in the next round.

KruZin

I'm starting with Chappy, so SJ comes in after Rd12. No way his price will be over 500k by then.
