Yep that must be the reason! I guess they don't want the winner of the first season also winning the pre season cup cos then everyone would lose interest :P

Okay. All results from this week have been posted.

Congratulations to the Spetsnaz, Bears, Suns, Tigers, Reindeers, Pumas and the Arm-how-the-heck-did-you-win-adillos for their wins this weekend.

A special congrats to the Sands, Tigers and the Pumas for all cracking the tons.

A special commiseration for the Brewers who lost by 2 whole points. 811 to 809. :o Ouch. :-\

Some big scores this week from ML, myself and fisher.

Also something I noticed c4. When you add up the scores of the Wolves it comes to 830 so why have you given them a score of 91? ???
Coz he doesn't want you in the final :P

I get teh same as CF though. :-\

Haha, no, simple mistake on my behalf. I accidently counted Robbie Gray's score twice.

Fixed.

hehe, we win! :P If we actually had 15 players on the park (not 12) then we may have been in the GF, but a big win from teh Pumas, Bears and two solid wins from the Sands means it's out of those 3. Still, great to be one of only 4 sides undefeated. :D *touchwood*

Yeah no worries. What I'm not happy about is how inaccurate my players were in front of goal! 13.26 is not good enough!! I think my players have been spending too much time with the locals playing the round ball game in their spare time. As much as I encourage promoting our team by getting amongst it with the locals I may have to stop that if the goal kicking problems aren't fixed!

From now on before they can leave the training field they have to score a goal from both pockets and 1 from the 50!

Congratulations to the Beijing Bears and the Sao Paulo Pumas. You both move onto the pre-season Grand Final. Well done. :D

Now, if anyone else would like to schedule a third pre-season friendly to run alongside the Grand Final, please go back to this thread:

and begin negotiations for another friendly if you wish. But be quick! Deadline to organise them is this Thursday night.

Wow just made it to the final :)

Now let's hope that Ablett and co are actually named for this week...

Also can I just clarify, will the final be done under DT scoring or will we wait for SC scoring?

The final will be done under SC scores. It'll be a tense wait. ;D

The Cairo Sands are looking for a match, would you like to play them perhaps?
