Mid price defenders

Mid price defenders. its been talked about a lot over the last few weeks. Currently dont have a mid pricer in my entire team, got a killer trade plan! Anyway which mid pricer/s are you going with in the backline?

Hargrave looks very solid. I reckon he is the best choice. Conca is a smoky.

why do you say that whatlez, got a really good plan that i dont think fanfooty focus on enough and part of it is 4 guns and 3 rookies in the back. I think conca or lake/hargrave might be worth it, but conca's not proven enough for me and lake or hargrave is too risky, but if i went for one it would be lake or hargrave, you dont have to have mid pricers if you have faith in your rooks and guns stratergy.

True dat! If you get your stanley, heppel and puopolo of 2011 for rookies then you have potential keepers and make better use of your cash. However, I voted hargrave as he's looking tasty right now.

@underdog, yeah I didn't mean to say it like that, I'm meant you need risks and if your not at least considering Hargrave or considering Giles as number 2 ruck then I believe you will not compeitive for overall. You might go alright, but maybe not under 1k.

I do have giles as my second ruck. My risk is my "plan". My theory on mid pricers is there are one/two really good ones going around each year, and there are 4/5 really good rookies, and by my calculations that makes it less risky, but in a way still risky. Obviously have a unique pick like Shiels, Rockliff, Redden and Fyfe could really help your ranking, but there are heaps of mid pricers that burn, and i have been on the recieving end for the last two years, with Liam Anthony and Chris Masten and i had Grimes and Brown, but it was like a sign that they re-injured themselves, so for now no mid pricers for me, unless hargrave keeps his rare form

Well I can tell you that Hargrave is my only mid pricer. But he will gun it.
