I have sidebum atm but am considering Danger as my F5 and one of the few mid pricers in my team. Although they both seem quite pricey for a mid price option. What do you think?

Both set to have big years IMO, would love to have both but Dangerfield coz of his Round 11 bye is the best bet.

Bosh

With not many decent players having rd 11 bye, danger is the better option here. More options for rd12 bye.

Dangerfield's round 11 bye is the sealer for me. Both exciting prospects all the same.

The Bomber

i think sidebottom will be more consistent getting you decent 90ish score week in week out...

danger on the other hand my score perhaps 60ish one round but then rack a 120ish another...

im thinking of dangerfield this year (already got sidebottom), but the player i would have to drop is daniel cross...

I like both for my f5 position but which one i cant decide. Would happily take a 0 for sidebum if he was to become a keeper. But if danger can have more midfield duties this year. and with round 11 bye he might be a better choice

Don't know why everyone is so sure sidebottom will tear it up? So many good collingwood players taking point, especially in SC!!

Dangerfield is going to play in the midfield more this year.  Who knows what Buckley will do with Sidebottom.  You are also going to struggle to fit SB in a forward line with the likes of Fyfe, Pav, Goodes, Chapman, etc if you are considering the R12 bye

Dangerfield.  Potentially could take his game to a new level as did Gary Ablett when he went from forward line to the midfield.  Under sanderson this looms as a big breakout year for danger.

4INAROW

heard that same story the last 2 years

and bucks has actually come out and said sidearse will get alot more time through the mids this year.

has sanderson stated the same or are we all assuming again?

Good article jasonweare.  I think 33 touches in the nab game on the weekend was a good indication that under a new coach he will play a new role.

Just heard them talking up danger on fox footy, on the couch, comparisons with ablett.

Dangerfield has the potential to become one of the absolute superstars of the competition.  You only have to look at the vision of danger running thru the middle of aami stadium last year, putting some space between the bloke that was chasing him and then slotting a long goal from 50m on the run.  this is a midfielder who is a lot taller and stronger than he looks.  He could be anything this bloke, and this could be the year for him.  No gaurantees, but the indications are there.

More upside with danger in my opinion.  He's in my side at the moment.
