I currently have Mummy in as my number 1 ruck. I know it is only NAB Cup but John Longmire keeps playing Seaby and if that happens in the real season will Mummy be affected??? or is Seaby only going to play the NAB cup this season???

SydneyRox

woulnt read too much into the NAB time. Mummy is the number 1 ruckman at the swans. I am not sure who will get the back up gig this year though. Last year we floated through white and LRT, this year Seaby might see some more game time?

yeah as per the latest trend among managers - mumfords workload will be managed

http://news.smh.com.au/breaking-news-sport/swans-to-manage-mumfords-workload-20120302-1u810.html

That says his preseason will be managed, not his AFL season.

As per what SR said, Mumford is the Swans main ruck and will be for the whole of the season barring injury/suspension. He had more % TOG then Cox did. Seaby might play a handful of games but the Swans were pretty reluctant to play 2 specialist ruckman last year. Longmuire has to at least play Seaby in the preseason to make sure he's all in check

Mummy will be the number 1 rucks for the swans but to use him as your number 1 ruck is a no from me.

It kills me as a swans supporter but he will miss some time due to injury, resting and brain fade suspensions.

Windigo

Ah well. You'll get that with him.

No way I'm getting Seaby.....The classic day when he he jumped up, got the hit out on the opening bounce...+1....On the way down he broke his ankle.  8)

I had him too.  ::)

SC i dont think you can go wrong with mummy, but for DT I havent been sold, think more likely Cox/berger

I like the idea!

Purely as a team I think Seaby is a much better overall option for backup ruck/floating fwd than White/Pyke and prefer to stay in defense.

It may even help Mummy SC/DT scores? We all keep talking about Cox/Nic Nat, but they have forged a great combination and it hasnt done Cox any issues with the way he goes about it.
