Seems to be going quite well in the NAB cup, what do you think Chris Mastens chances will be like to stay in the best 22 all year?
alot of potential, has a huge ceiling like what we all seen late last year, just if he can get consistent games in the 22, what are your thoughts?

Bruizer81

He is trying to tempt me at the moment

Putting together a good NAB Cup and Ebert spot is up for grabs

JamesHarden13

Exactly right!
Very temptin also seeing what he's capable of late last year with thOse two massive tonnes.
Potential written all over him and am hoping he can use it this year.

Anyone know his injury history or why he's been in and out for years? Best to find out first. He's ahead of Stevens for Ebert's spot I reckon and has huge wraps from his club. If named and continues to do well in NAB cup then I'm considering him over Barlow for a mid spot

no injury concerns with masten he is a beast, finished the season very strongly and should break out this season, was vested 7 times last season....

lacked a bit of form early and failed to live up to pick 3 expectations, so couldnt break into the wce starting mid lineup only played 13 games in both 2010 and 2011.

this is his year, might be gaffs too imo, and ebert will tear it up at port so will be his too.... GL hope i helped :)

Torress

i think it was mostly due to his fitness in the past. he is a really good footballer, rumour has it he is a little slow ect. or maybe was?

strictly don't want midpricers within midfield but never say never.. good to see koby stevens up towards the higher end of the DT scoring. there are some good mid only rookies bobbing up.

Turbo

I have vowed to never ever get him again!!

asd an eagles fan, his biggest problem has been his disposal under pressure especially by foot. His body strength around the ball and ablility to break a tackle. His huge games last year were in the wet when skills were diminished some. In the nab cup games so far this season his body work has improved alot and his kicking seems to have improved as well. The only way is up from here, but a return to any of those previous traits would surely see him dropped again, i wont be taking the risk, but i hope he proves me wrong :P

terrible skills..wouldnt touch him with a 10ft clown pole (although have been burned by him a few years ago)

demon_spud

Was considering this guy as well, as have some extra cash about.

But with eagles and Tferrier comments has changed my mind to run with a rook, will see how his effciency is when the SC scores are released for the NAB.

looking at Sidebum....but also have Dangers in the fwd as well, and really shouldn't have both.

bomberboy0618

I've got both Sidey and Danger, if they both break out, why not?

Big_Cox14

Masten's form was looking good towards end of last season and looks like he's carried on this season in the NAB cup.

Definitely one to consider, though I think he's better suited to DT than SC. He's also in his 5th season.

I have also vowed never to get him again... he's killed my team in the past with inconsistency
