Mid-price defenders!!

All 4 of these guys have very good potential and have shown promise in their NAB Cup games!

As it stands my DEF:
Goddard, Shaw, Deledio, Birchall, _______, Clarke, Darley (Bugg, Morris)


1. Taylor Hunt is playing more MID time this season with the absence of Ling.
2. Colin Garland has played very nicely tonight against Collingwood and is playing higher up the ground.
3. Nick Smith is a smokey that performed well against North and racked up the loose posessions.
4. Ryan Hargrave is a dt slut that averaged 92 two years ago and last week he showed lots of promise racking up 90 points in 80 minutes against Collingwood and GWS

I have Hargrave, but Smith had been on my radar, even before this match against the Roos.  I'd probably have him in my team if I could afford him but I can't so I've gone with Hargrave.  So, even though I have Hargrave I voted Smith. :P

you've pick 4 players on fire throughout the nab cup, of form to date you would have to take garland, but just over hunt.

Garloand played down back 90% of the time IMO where he belongs and apart from working well in defence he got SLUTTY DT numbers as the defenders used him every time they switched it went through him.

very very tempting, but keep in mind in all these guys cases ALL OF THEM, they have achieved these scores in nab cup WITHOUT significant senior players in the teams.

How much set up and switching will garland be involved in with grimes in, hargrave when lake is in? ect ect ect

premiums are premiums for a reason and i cant see there all of a sudden being 30 of them in defence at the end of 2012, think we will get a handfull at most of break out defenders but a backline full of them may be a little ambitious however tempting  :)

I've got pretty much the same backline as you and i put ryan hargrave in the mid-pricer spot but i reckon itll change
