Just a thought, wouldn't you be better off strengthening your back line and have a weaker forward line?

I say this because, its hard to find good scoring Defenders, so having only good ones is best.

Then choose forwards that could become better or can kick a lot of goals.
I am seriously considering this approach. The reason being, at the start of the season there should be a greater chance of picking top 10 defender premiums than forward premiums. This is due primarily by the absolute truckload of forward eligible DPP options this season as prepared to previous years. Also, I personally think that there a some forward rookies who will post mid-price defender like scores, so better value for money there.

Thats what I had in mind.

having 4 is almost too many. what many fail to realise is bar pendles, swan ablett and maybe boyd, 'premiums' fluctuate, so you'll spend all this coin on guys who could potentially drop more of your cash than a risk on a midpricer or rookie. but hey, your team, you can do what you want.

Id rather spend more on elites and risk that, then risk it with mids that end up in the showerter.

I've got 4 and still got 4 prems in backs and 5 in fwds with two mid pricers in each possy. Mind due I have Giles as number 2.

Very similar to my setup, I have 4 mids, 4 backs. 5 fwrds and Hmac as 2nd ruck.

At times I've had 6 fwds, 3 backs then 5 mid prems, 3 back prems and 5 fwds.

But I think I'm settled now. Message me your team if you need any help  ;)

Haha, don't worry, I've been through plenty of different structures, my head hurts!

I like going the 4 premiums and 2 rookies OR 3 premiums and a mid-pricer/smokey
i think if you go any more premiums your other lines will be quite weak

4 premiums is enough for me. You want the top 6 mids come years end and you leave yourself no room to move if someone (say K. Simpson) is averaging 130 unless you trade a pre-selected gun.
