I've got 6 starting plus Clarke, which I think is about par. As long as you're confident in your rookies your team will go a long way.

Going with that I have 14 premiums and 1 mid-pricer, then Clarke and a whole load of rookies.

At the moment I have 6 with Clarke and Byrnes.

I have 2 rooks starting. Magner and Rowe. But have 8 on the benches.. The downside is only 12 of the team are keepers. Am looking for the 8 mids $200 - $300k to work this year rather than the Guns / Rook strategy I went with last year. Have 4 mids in backline, 1 in mid , 1 ruck and 2 forwards. It has been fun working through selecting mids as compared to the unknown rooks.

Wow that is risky.

Risky it is. Has been fascinating just picking up on tidbits here and there on peoples view on particular mid pricers. Eg Hargrave, Caddy, Bate .....so I have been following them all rather that what rooks are up to. ( May even go with Connors from the tiges??) Only have to choose 10 rooks over all. That iwill be Giles, Stephenson, Rowe, Wheedon, Neale, Magner, Morris, Bugg, Gibson and Couch.

Justin Bieber

I would not choose bates, but caddy, gaff and Hargrove are good mid pricer.

T Dog

Thanks whatlez..hadn't been looking at Gaff, but will now.

If your going to go risky, I would prefer gaff

T Dog

I missed him as I had a $300k cut off but an extra $20k or so isnt a bbig deal. Caddy and Gaff and no rook starting in the mids. May be a POD  of sorts, cash cow wise will be risky but still.......

In my mind "point of difference" but thats just me.

Gonna take a stab and say Point Of Difference ;)

Capper

Found a couple of juicy midpricers that i am keen on so atm only 5 rookies starting

Guns n rooks is better then mid-pricers this year imo. Plenty of guns ready to bust their average to potentially 5-10 points while many rookies are set to become firm starters for their respective clubs, while there is only really one mid-pricer who is guaranteed to bust out good scores and has great JS in Hargrave.
