because of brown recently breaking my heart i have now had to get in another rookie and my question is a really tricky one. how many rookies should you have starting on? i have six and windigo has 5 starting on. the upside to having so many rookies is obviously that you have more cash for prems but can u trust 5 first year players to score good enough for you? what are your thoughtS.

Windigo

Pretty sure your rookies are all dodgy as Jack.

I think 6 rookies is about average.
7 rookies is what I have because my premiums are 'real' and 'proper ones' :P

Going with the mid price madness structure Windigo?

Most people will have somewhere between 6 to 8 rookies on the field. My structure has 14 premium, 1 mid and 7 rookies.

Exact same as me. 70k in the bank with eyes locked on Sloane, Shuey, Gaff and Ebert :P

I've got six (If you count Marty Clarke as a rook), and I would find it veeeery hard to lessen that number unless I compromise on my premos/elites

Ziplock

4 ;)

but I'm currently fielding 3 players around the 200k mark.

I'm starting with 8, lol.  3 at the back, 2 in the middle, 3 down forward.

Ziplock

and I know someone who'd fielding one  :o

to be fair though, they have a lot of 200/300k players... although the ones they have look the goods... amazing risky, but if they pull it off...

stew42

And the odds of them pulling it off Zip?  :)

upthemaidens

with a new team in the comp  we can be more liberal with rookies, I for one have 13 prems, 1 mid (the premiums are cream of the crop though, no expense saved)
