Which one?

Joel Selwood
Marc Murphy

essendon2

Averages IMO

J.Selwood 117
M.Murphy 118

Well Neale has the extra 40k odd cheapness to add on as well. Hogan has very questionable JS as well.

That said its a tough one. I'd go Selwood Neale mainly because I think Selwood has 10-15 more points per game than Watson whereas the Neale Hogan one is much more questionable

went with Murphy + Neale

which one now though?

TheMailman

Well look at all their scores from 2011.

Selwood absolutely smashed out the first 10-11 rounds with big consistancy, but got rubbed out for 4 weeks and never really found it again.

Murphy had bursts of 5 rounds where he'd average 125 and then bursts of 90 average.

Based on that I'd go with Selwood

what? so Selwood averaged 120 first 10, and then 100 for the rest?
that's the same as Murphy...
not a good reason.

TheMailman

Suit yourself

Rounds 3-10 last year show me who I'm picking

Selwood is much more underpriced

Justin Bieber

lol rading the mailman's first comment doesn't make sense haha. Umm yeah I got both Selwood and Murphy. But I voted Selwood.

It's pretty hard to split the difference but I'll go with Murphy because he might be less likely to cop a tag with Chris Judd around.

Jukes

Neither...don't like either player, go with a proper premium in Boyd/Rocky/Ablett/Swanny

TheMailman

lol yeah my first post didn't make that much sense now that I reread it  :P

I think Murphy's stepped up to the point where he has an equal chance of being tagged as Selwood does.

Both have a fairly equal draw looking at it briefly.

I'd just say go with your gut decison, there isn't a real deciding factor here

Justin Bieber

Drob pendles and take both?

Ziplock

Selwood over murphy, both in pricing and potential scoring. Everyone seems to be rating every second premium as hitting 117+. Lets face it though, I'm pretty sure in the history of DT, only swan and ablett have managed that. Looking at the current premiums, the only one I see with the potential to lift to 117+ is pendles and rockliff. Pendles based on age and last years scoring, Rockliff based on his second half of last year, his age, and his swan like ability to rack up possessions.

Master Q

Selwood. To me, Murphy relies on Carlton IMHO.

TheMailman

Selwood doesn't rely on Geelong?

I think I understand what you mean. Selwood tries to create his own ball while Murphy is often the end reciever.

Exactly. Selwood is a ball winner who is has courage with great consistency. Murphy is a very class midfielder who receives the ball and does well with it.
