Shannon Byrnes averaged 80 in 2010 and is very capable of getting 100's every once in a while. An article out yesterday saying he'll be a key part of Geelong's DEF, which is definitely tempting as I think his JS is better than FWD rookie, as there aren't many anyway.

He's currently sitting in my FWD line:
Franklin, Fyfe, Robinson, Martin, Sidebottom, Byrnes, Hampton (Hall, McIntyre)

Listed as  FWD and is only 197k!!!

What are your thoughts on him?

I won't fully rule him out, so I voted for a maybe, but I doubt it.

Mmm maybe. 75 is probably not good enough IMO. Needs to have at least 80.

His like not even $200,000. Worth a punt know that J.B has gone down IMO.

Byrnes really is worth a shot. Was on the local news yesterday and he says he has had an injury free run and is ready to go.

But still needs to get a spot back in a very settled side.

Geelong has a super team still and free spots are hard to come by. I recon he will struggle to play 15 games.

Mr Fantasy and Dr DT in the NAB cup record are basically sucking his dick and saying he's gonna be Buddy-like average. Not for me, awkward price and I want to stay guns/rooks up forward.

If JS is no worry for either then they are in.

Byrnes is a fwd.
I don't follow...

Not for me either. Too many yucky vests headed his way imo.
