I think this year one of the most important aspects will be how teams handle the three bye weeks.

I think those weeks will go a long way to sorting out the pretenders from the contenders. It will also impact on team's starting lineups.

For example I don't think many will start with Swan, Pendles and Selwood because they share the bye.

I'm trying to work out what the best approach will be. Is is worth really being stingy on trades so that I can do a couple of straight, donut saving trades in those weeks?

Should I not do any upgrades until after a player has had their bye?

Or should I load up on GWS rookies, then make 2-3 trades the first bye week specifically to cover the GWS bye and then use the GWS players to cover the other byes.

Another option might be to try to push all your doughnuts into one week and then make three trades that week to cover them. And really carve it up on the other two bye weeks.

K I S S rule applies to dreamteam in so many ways.
The more we think about it and the more you read into it can sometimes be worse than your first thought, we can get put off a player from one persons oppion on here, dont get me wrong ff is great but how many of us honestly had players like suckling, rockcliff etc in our team from round 1last year. if we had them in our team at pre season people on here would be talkin you out of it.
