2011 54 shots on goal from 21 games lowest shots on goal in a full season since 2003 when he was a kid  accuracy 53.70%
2010 31 shots only played 11 games  accuracy 51.61
2009 99 shots 21 games accuracy 58.59%
2008 80 shots 21 games accuracy 52.5%

it definatley to do with lyons style of defence first, slow transition footy, forcing saints wide and increasing shot difficulty as well
2005 was his most inaccurate season with less than 50% recorded.
steele would be an ok scorer but he has swan,pendle,cloke,thomas,shaw also taking points off him
