that's just ridiculous speculation. swan was whipping him til he got injured last year, what's to say that swan isn't better for SC or that pendles wont get a niggle? pendles might outscore him but it's no lock, so where there's doubt save the cash, simple.

In SC pendles averted 129 whereas swan only averaged 121. That's why.

At the end of the year, Pendlebury will core more than Swan and will probably not take a week off. But this only for SC. Swan will outscore in DT in average.

If you have the cash Pendlebury. I would take Ablett over both to start the year and look to upgrade to Pendlebury when his price drops.

I've got Pendles in for now. I think they will score pretty similarly, but in my opinion the extra 40k is worth the little bit extra durability that Pendlebury offers plus he will be more of a unique this season.
