You've got the foundations of a pretty good team there, but there are a few adjustments that can be made:

BACKS: Looks reasonably solid, although would you would benefit having Birchall or Adcock bumped up to Deledio (cost between $50 - $70k);

MIDS: Plenty of work here. Goodes starts seasons slowly (on average about 10 - 20 points less than his second half of the season) which means his value will be lower after the bye, he's a genuine upgrade target once your rookies have made their money. For me, Fyfe is perfect for the foward line, but a wasted position in your Midfield. After dropping Robbie Gray (and some other changes), I would put Fyfe in the forward line and leave him there. Beams is a significant risk (especially in your midfield) considering the quality Collingwood have and the fact that he is likely to be starting substitute, or be substituted, in a lot of games. Perhaps downgrade to a 1st year player (Shiel from GWS or Neale from Fremantle). With that move and dropping Goodes you'll have about $1.2mil to play with;

RUCK: The Cats are loving Stephenson and will likely push West out, either deep into the forward line or out of the team entirely. Perhaps go for the 1 premium 3 rookie ruck structure and grab Redden from Port or Derrickx from the Tigers (depending on NAB Cup form) saving about $250k;

FORWARD: Robbie Gray probably won't have the impact that people are expecting him to. He shined in a handful of games mid season to bump up his average but I think he won't play as freely this year, especially early on when Port are establishing what sort of season they will have.  This is where Fyfe fits in nicely and only costs you $95k in the swap. Otherwise the forward line looks good, Sidebottom is a risk like Beams, but a risk worth taking as he has established himself nicely in the Collingwood team.

So, based on these changes you should have about $1.7mil to replace two midfielders (Goodes and Fyfe) which gives you plenty of room to play with.

Good luck, as I said at the beginning, you've got a solid foundation but with some tinkering you would have a pretty good team here.

Ps: the maths doesn't seem to add up right for me looking at it on the page now, but I did the physical swaps with pen and paper and it can out at $1.7mil in change with two players to select. And sorry for the paragraphs but I did have some explaining to do.

Backs: I recommend to upgrade Adcock to either Broughton or Deledio apart from that you have a solid defence
Mids You have players who should be in the forward line Goodes & Fyfe are better off there. You are better off with Specialist Midfielders. i would also look at getting at least one more rookie in the Mids.
Rucks Don't like west as a starting Ruckman you are better off with Giles or the Big O
Fwds This is where Fyfe should be gray is no an F3 so you should make that change.

Overall This team has weaknesses on each line as the balance is out.
I give this team a 6.5/10

Looks a lot better. As I said previously, you had pretty solid foundations, you just needed to tweak things a bit. Looks like you've done a pretty good job with it.

Whilst he keeps defying the odds, I'm still not 100% keen on Boomer Harvey, although I do understand your reasoning for having him in your side. I've gone with a rookie MID/FWD in the midfield, although this was because I didn't feel that any of the premium MID/FWD players had a reason to go in my centre line.

And now with $71k remaining you have some decent room to move should you wish to upgrade.

lol McBayne you made him get rid of Gray. Thank you. lol

Well as a Crows fan I cannot endorse the selection of scum you would be apprehensive about wiping off your shoe just in case it was dog shower. So pretty much don't pick any Port players and you'll be right :)

Well one more person to get scared off, I'm happy.  ;D
