At the moment looking to fill my final spot in the forward line and looking at 1 mid pricer in each position except rucks.  Preferably need a guy from the middle bye, the options I am looking at are:

Winderlich vs Christensen vs Ballantyne in that order.  Have up to 370k to spend.  Thoughts and other options welcome, also considering Gunston, but may need to play with my rooks to balance the byes.

Or

Currently have Hargrave as my mid backman, should I upgrade him to Bock and have an extra rook forward.

Windigo

Bock may play more FWD this year. Also, he is out for the first two weeks with suspension.

Hmm, Hargrave it is...for now.

Hargrave to newman/fisher?

I'm trying to take into account each bye round and to have max 3-4 players from that bye round, so if I was to upgrade Hargrave it would be to someone like Doughty, Waters etc.

Windigo

Newman is strictly a Supercoach player.

Fisher will unique. Very hard to have Goddard & Fisher.

Can you afford Jaensch ($330k-ish) if you select Bate ($250k-ish) as your midpriced forward?

Could, but Bate's luck ran out years ago, better chance of Winderlich, Balla & Christensen being keepers than Bate.

None of those guys should be keepers.

Nope you're right, but if you can snag a guy who breaks out and turns into a keeper its priceless.  Winderlich averaged over 85 3 years in a row before his injury last year, Ballantyne and Christensen both getting more midfield time this year, Bate would be lucky to crack the starting 18.
