Has anyone heard what the Pies are doing ruck wise this year?. Any news on Wood replacing Brown as a weekly selection?

Im a collingwood fan and very interested too. Jolly is apparently very fit, finished 5th in a team run around the tan a week or two back so he may even go solo in the ruck for the pies.

The problem with wood in my opinion is he just cant fill the other roles like leigh brown at half forward/back when not in the ruck. And with cloke/dawes they dont really need an extra tall resting fwd that often.

I would not be suprised to see Witt play at times, or even ceglar/macnamara at times. Either that or they find a pinch hitting rucking in the likes of nathan brown, ben reid.

Thanks Dmac. Not seeing a lot of love for Jolly after his last years results.

could be a smokie but hasnt scored well for the pies even when he was rucking alone

Jolly has never been a Ruckman for Dt fullstop

2011 highest score was 100, that being his only 100 (4 100s if you count the 3 99s he got in a row)

didn't he do alright at Sydney??

TheMailman

Well he was crap at Melbourne,

Funny how although he was in the top 3 rucks of the afl at Sydney, he never really scored a huge amount of dreamteam points. His best DT years he averaged in the 80s

TheMailman

Around the same as they are now.

Swan was the best with a 119 average if that puts it some perspective.
