Dayne Beams 2012 prediction

What is the theory behind assistant coach's massive predictions for beams for 2012? According to Assistant Coach he will just about be the highest scoring player, peaking at a price of 620k... do you think that he can really achieve this?

i rate him highly but not that highly. im sure he'll be a reliable high scoring pick barring injury/sub

No I doubt it. He will not be a super elite mid, like Swan, Ablett, Pendles, Boyd etc.

dtt interview with bucks about sidebottom and beams bucks said (to paraphrase)- for dt... well, steele should be getting more of a run in the guts, picking up a few possessions, but beams could score a couple goals being slotted in closer to the posts....

so sounded like beams would be getting more fwd time this year :P

considering you would think cloke would be the pies main target up front, he wouldn't be consistently kicking huge numbers....

my prediction for Beams is that about Round 20 will go out for beers with Heater, both of them get caught doing something stupid and are banned for the rest of the home and away season

when beams was scoring well last year he played the high half forward role and he will do the same this year and score well IMO.

U would only have beams in the forward line so u can't really compare him to the elite super premo mids. Compare him with the likes of pav, fyfe, Martin, robbo, zaha, ect. And IMO he stacks up well

I think he will average 91 or 92 and become a super-premium (fwd) in 2-3 years time.

That is a pretty bad prediction for the price he's at. He should be getting 100+ at his price.
