Setting up my mids with at least 1 prem with byes in each round.  Just wondering which one of these with the Round 11 bye would you take.  You can comment if you wish.

Boyd - Mr Consistency will surely return 110+average
Swallow - Will Captaincy effect his game or will he lift his 112 average from last year
Rockliff - Last years superstar and break out player but will he maintain out put this year with extra attention.
Priddis - Also consistent for West Coast but lesser average than Boyd
Thompson - New Coach - Crows very favourable draw will he increase his 110 average.

I recon no brainer. Boyd for sure.

going on proven performances and recent efforts in nab cup(as little as they may mean), you'd have to say boyd.

Dudge

Boyd- great start in the NAB. ( been great for years) Rocky great year last year, and looks likely to keep going. Swallow, another one going strong, and should improve even with the extra pressure of captancy. Priddis always gives his best, which u would take. But Thompson with his draw, and the way he carries the cows, i thing could be in for a big year. And thats from a Power supporter grrrrrrrr lol

Boyd was a bit of a let down for me last year scored under 100 to often for my liking i voted Thompson easiest draw in the league this year you might get 5 or 6 150-200 scores out of him

Went with Rocky. I think he'll lift this year.
Having said that, I want him to continue his form from the last half of 2011. But I'm not quite game to put him over Murphy in my side.

Ringo

Thanks Guys - Keep the votes coming close between Rocky, Boyd and Thompson

Jay

Exactly same as me ringo :) was set on swallow but know not sure...

Justin Bieber

If this was done on DT, no one else would have a vote except Boyd.

Ziplock

I dunno, I would consider any of them in DT, with the exception of priddis :P

auscoyote

I went with boyd, but have you considered sloane and the extra cash, could have a break out year.

MC

It's obvious that Sloane is the flavour of the week - which ALWAYS happens when a player plays above expectations in the early NAB games. Sidebottom averaged like 150 last year in pre-season didn't he?

Unless you truly believe he'll be a keeper, stay away. 480k is too much for a 'cash cow.'

I dont normally post too much but I like your posts Ringo - honest advice that you give to all.
Swallow is my vote - Captaincy, improving midfield & team imo. Warning disclaimer - can struggle with tagger (Upgrade target) but so did NDS at similar age.

Boyd - I had him from Rnd 1 last year based on him being captain and it paid dividends, notably improving his SC to DT ratio which has always been his weakness. I noticed his ratio returning late in season..Rnd 22 exception.

Rockliffe - last years breakout player, what a finish to the year, last 11 games 27 + possies in all but 1 and that game he had 14 tackles - Can their be improvement on that with more attention surely to be given.

Priddis & Thompson - ageing with improving midfields around them, will improve SC to DT ratio but not output imo.

I had Swallow locked in as I was expecting him to really step it up again this season. Now I'm starting to waver and looking at Boyd  ;)
