throw some thoughts my way guys?? heres my team, just updated a bit with the news of clarke out for maggies for a couple of weeks with a hamstring.

BACKS:  Godd, Deledio, Shaw, Grimes
            Webberly, Smedts, Bugg 
            (Ellis, Buagley)

MIDS:  Pendles, Ablett, Boyd, Selwood
          J mac, Pfieffer
          (Ledger, Gibson)

RUCKS:  Mummy, Stephenson
            (Giles, Redden)

FWDS:  Buddy, Goodes, Pav, Cloke, Martin
           Tomilison, Cooyou
           (Trelour/zorko, Weedon)


i have gone very strong in fwds and mids and have a few good DPP link ups that im happy with. lots of gws players, but,, thats where the money is. by time the byes are here they should be halved.

grimes im not 100% with, but i just upgraded him from clarke, and now i have only $700 left, but if theres an easier option to not leave me with only 3 premium backs let me know.

If this is your first team, you're a long way behind. My team ios upo to version 76 A (iii) and a half.

OK - Lids and Martin have a hard draw early so will possibly drop a bit. Also share byes with Hawks and Saints, so watch out.

Grimes is worth the risk I reckon.

Pendles will surley drop a bit?

Soft in the rucks. (I'm a 2/2 selector though so my bias is showing).

Personally couldn't stomach Cloke in my team, but he can score well at times.

No mids who can go to defence which will be handy with Goddard and Lids.

You get roughly 7.67/10 from me.

not my first team, about my fifth. lol. was contemplating not doing supercoach this year as im moving to melb and such. but then got sucked in bout 4 days ago and started reading articles. haha.

lids i think doesnt matter about the draw, showed last year he is good everywhere. martin i liked as a different team in my fwds for the byes.

pendles was chosen above swan cause of the ever growing rumours of swans mid season trip. pendles is like, 24? his body is fine. and yes he is expensive, he may lose a bit by end of season, but, touch a lot of bloody wood, barring injury, he will be in the top mids at end of season and scoring me good scores all season on the way.

yeah i know its soft but mummy is up for a big one and the others are cashies. freed up a lot of cash for another premium elsewhere for the sake of probably 30ppg in the rucks, which i will get more from in other areas.

i hate cloke with a passion as a player as well, but they are playing good footy and training well from what iv heard the pies, and its hard to find a single forward attacker that DOES score a lot and is in a team that WILL do well, no matter what. and a bullet will be in my head before stevie j is in my team


mids to def link is a great point... thoughts on maybe going from selwood to someone like scotland in the premium mids? or should i look in the rookies more?
