Is he really worth the 330k coming back from injury?

Not for me. Had him for a long time but downgraded him to a rookie and Grimes->Hargrave so that I could upgrade a rookie to Stanton.

Maybe. He has a good bye so it could be useful.

Interesting that you say that, whatlez.
I'd say he has a bad bye as the position that he fills in your team can't avoid a zero. If you trade him pre-bye then whoever you bring in will miss a week, if you trade him post-bye then, well he copped a donut. Same, same with other Rnd 11 bye midpricers.

Well his bye is probably the easiest to cover. I don't have any west coast, lions, wb, Adelaide and players. Only gws and with dpp players gws player can move in the mids. Meaning no donuts.

We're agreed on that. Slim pickings across most lines (rucks excl.) for teams with the Round 11 bye.

Having 2 gws players in Fwds,, meaning they can sit on the bench with no risk.

So no Zorko?

Not at the moment, he's injured... if he does he will slot into my midfield for Koby Stevens.

One first year player notably absent from the Lions’ squad was 23 year-old Dayne Zorko, who recently suffered a minor injury setback.

“Dayne unfortunately had a little hip problem, but we’re hoping to see him back on the field by end of NAB Cup.”

“He’s been one of the best players in the State League competition for a number of years, and we are delighted to give him an opportunity.”

Grimes to average 20 more ppg than hargrave. (329k vs 230k)
Brown to average 30 more ppg than a rookie. (331k vs 104k)
Stanton to average 50 more pgg than a rookie. (104k vs 528k)

764k vs 862k

Even if my ppg are wrong (I can imagine they would only vary slightly) would that make up a 100k difference? Doesn't seem worth it to me. Good luck.

Browns in for me, bye in round 11 makes him a lock, but WILL trade him out after round 13 :)

IMO
Avg's:
Grimes 85 v Hargrave 75
Brown 80 v Rookie 60-65
Rookie 65-70 v Stanton 110-115

20 points isn't worth the extra 100k
but I wouldn't go brown, I'd rather Dangerfield or Christensen
