Hey all
There are a few players ive been looking at over the pre season and first round of the NAB cup.
And i was wondering what others thoughts are on them?
Lucas
Bate
Masten
Christensen
and Marty Clarke

I think all have huge upside, but not sure if its worht the risk.
Will Clarke be in the pies 22??? Maybe a specialist sub.
Lucas looked great in todays matches, but its just NAB cup, will he be in the Blues midfield?
Bate i think will finally be given the games to show what he has. Has looked good in the past, no consistency though.
Masten will be in the Eagles 22. With Ebert gone, Lecras down there is a hole in the midfield that needs filling.
Christensen will he improve on last year. At 330k he is a descent risk

Lucas: Could be a steal at 200k, but two good NAB cup games against Port and the Crows isn't much to brag about; watch next week, shows promise.
Bate: Don't know.
Masten: Check the DT Talk Deck of Dream Team article.
Christensen: Same as Masten.
Clarke: LOCK.

specky lecky

what about Butcher from Port. Around the 270 mark. Showed dome promise today

Shuey, Sloane if they are classed as awkward.

I'd add Brett Ebert to that list, too.

And perhaps Gray, LE?  :P

Jalapeno

i have got bate in and think he is a great smoky and is def gunna increase in value.

This is the thread for me. There are so many players who have potential but are awkwardly priced.

Essential this is a best mid-pricers thread.

Some to add who are yet to be mentioned.

Hargrave, Conca, Winderlich, Caddy, Matera, Prestia, Ebert (ex WC), Conigilio (awkwardly-priced rookie).

Lol you do what I do. Shhh though haha

This may be soo left field as to be off the park, but Shaun Hampson?
He looked good in tandem with Kruze and Warnock is likely to be out for a bit. Plus Megan Gale.

Plus Megan Gale.

Who???
The premium WAG of the competition:

She's more of a premium rather than a mid pricer. :)

Anyway, here's a few more names for the pile - Jack Steven, Bernie Vince, Keiren Jack, Taylor Walker, Andrew Mackie. All decent scorers but hard to see many people picking them up this year.

The F.A.R.K.

Sloane is awajwarrd but he should up his scoring to a 95av (like cotchin last year)

I think Van Berlo is a better option than sloane for a unique 5th mid. He's capable of huge scores & with crowd fixture he could easily jump up to a 105+ ave IMO
- the other player from the crows I can't believe hasnt been mentioned is Jeansch. 3rd yr, with averages of 58, 68 (steady increases). He's a super chance to break out & be an extremely unique pod down back. I have him locked.
