Pretty happy with the structure being 8-11-11 with byes although thinking maybe a bit light on MPPs linking in midfield?

Backs could also be a bit shaky... had major dramas last year filling a leaky bucket. Also not sure if I should keep more $$$$ in the kitty for upgrades? Basically aiming for best possible starting team with one eye on the byes. I know I've got round 11 ruck bye dramas but thinking I can upgrade the rookie rucks by then to alleviate this.

Any thoughts much appreciated. Cheers!

I would change Bower and Rowe. Much better rookies out there. I'm guessing your a blues supporter ? :P

I'd suggest upgrading Mcintosh in the ruck to a better option like Leunberger also.

Also your forward line is full of "older" prems where there are plenty of better options out there imo.

i.e. b harvey n. riewoldt. i'd downgrade 1 of them and upgrade Hayes and Mcintosh

Cheers Danstar. Believe it or not I'm a Hawks man just can't seem to fit many into my team atm! Bower huge upside as I remember he was right up in the elites a few years back so hoping he can come back, bit under the radar IMO.

Like the look of McIntosh this year either will turn into a keeper or enough to upgrade at some point during the season. Yeah still iffy on Rowe was there for structural reasons and MPP link to rucks... only just added him in this week.

Cheers for the feedback will do likewise :)

felsty

really strong side IMO. good uniques in the backline, not many people jumping on carazzo enright
rookies you might need to change up but everyone changes that.. think riewoldt and hayes have past their prime, particularly riewoldt. i know people are going back to his numbers over the years but they are going down for a reason
think mcintosh is a safe option for now but look to upgrade at the byes

all in all, 8/10

I was thinking along those lines with Rowe as he is DPP with the RUC but who have you got in there to swap with him? And if you did how often would you use it?

Danstar taking advantage of the new MPP trading rules I would just take out someone say HMac for the round 11 bye and slot Rowe straight into the ruck, then effectively grab another gun forward to bolster that line :)

That's 2nd time today I forgot about that rule change.

But i still wouldn't bother for just the possibility of you needing to do that. thats the point of having 2 benches. better to get a rookie who will actually play in the mid/fwd line who should rack up more points then a dpp fwd/ruc and at carlton they have a pretty settled forward line/ruck combination

Yeah the more I think about it am inclined to agree with you. Got too hung up with MPP last year and got caught out! Will swap a few rookies I reckon very fluid situation IMO until season proper starts just depends on NAB cup and team balance.
