backs: Goddard and lids are standard. Shaw will be a decent pick this year- I doubt he'll flower up again so soon, and he's been blacklisted by a few. Carrots... not a huge fan of. Those random forward tagging role just kills his scoring every now and again- he'll probably single-handedly lose you games. That being said, gibbs being touted for more midfield and fwd time, and scotland getting even more on in years than carrazzo himself, I suppose it's not *impossible* that he'll be used more often in a rebounding role. I just don't feel it though. Lake, to be cliché, you have to continue monitoring his pre-season, hopefully he'll play this week NAB cup. Could be a great. As you said rookies pending until end of NAB
Mids: Swan and ablett are once again standard picks. Boyd is an interesting one, relatively unique :S Personally I would prefer Selwood or Rockliff for both value and scoring, but it looks to me like he might be there for structure. D Swallow is an interesting unique- personally I like the look of him myself. I don't see the 2nd year rule applying to him, and imo he'll lift even more than trengove and martin did last year- in a ridiculously young team he won't have a choice ;) That being said, is him getting to a 90+ average really worth it at his current price? TBH I would prefer to punt on Palmer or Gaff, who are both significantly underpriced, and gaff imo has an outside shot at a 100 average. Mitchell and Shiel are both injured... and I *think* brown as well. But, once again, only had 1 week of NAB.
Rucks: Leuen... I'm actually not a massive fan, I think we'll see hudson have an affect on his scores- not massively, but I can see a slight dip, or just maintaining his average. I'd prefer jacobs, who doesn't have anyone pinching points, or Mumford even. The fielding one rookie is a bold enough moves. I don't think Derickx has the scoring potential to be worth a ruck position, playing at ff where he's most likely. I would look again tbh.
Forwards: Johnson is overpriced, especially considering his rollercoaster tendencies, his average is inflated from a couple of monster scores last year. Upgrade target imo. Even given goodes early draw, I can't see him firing hard, he doesn't actually have huge averages against his first half opponents. Another upgrade target given his general start slow finish fast pattern. Franklin is standard. Pavlich should fire this year, shot at a 100+ average playing in his most fantasy friendly position. Martin is pretty much a must have- whether he'll fire or not I dunno, but if he does you're going to be way too far behind the rest of the competition. Rookies are solid *enough*

reasonable team overall.

cheers ziplock. and that is meant to be andrew swallow, sorry bout that.

Shizz, didn't notice how much effort Zippy put in for one post. And I thought my advice was good...

Thorpy

Top team man just sit on it until nab cup finishes and if the rookies are all go well that should be your starting team :)

I like boyd and its the first team i have seen Dswallow in.

I dont like 1 prem ruck but if it works for you go with it

Everyone keeps jumping on and off the walsh bandwagon but i would be looking elsewhere
