Of course the weather made form a little difficult to gauge, but I was impressed by both and they have been added to my shortlist until I see how they perform in their second hit-out in a couple weeks.

Both were good and the other rookie standout in the games although wet weather made assessments limited was Elliott Yeo for Lions.

Billy Longer was well beaten by Gorringe in rucks and at his price would be a miss even if he gets games.

Aaron Hall was a star down here in Tassie last yr. absolutely ripped the last game of the TSL season to shreds. very impressive. he could have a similar impact to Jeremy Howe

Magner had 9 Disposals & 39 DT Points VS Gold coast
Magner 6 disposals 4tackles & 1fk 33dt points vs Brisbane

So for a 94,000 midfielder does he have better Job security than Gibson (Nth) & Aaron Hall

Magner is a ball magnet if he gets elevated he should put straight into your starting team as the demons have a fairly easy schedule.

Ive been a fan of magner for sometime now, and saturday only reinforced that. If hes elevated hes a lock, if he isnt, hopefully I can pick him up later on in the season as a downgrade. He has barlow written all over him if you aslk me,
