Goddard vs Lids

Hey guys,

Just wondering if you had to choose one of Goddard and Lids, who would you go? Assume that both are named round 1 and Lids does get fit, gets a NAB cup run out and he scores roughly the same as Goddard, say +/- 5-10 points.

Goddard over lids.

And it has nothing to do with injury or NAB cup. Purely going Goddard because he has a better draw to start the season then Lids. IMO lids should score alot better in the NAB cup if he was fit, but you only watch the NAB cup for the rookies

Brendan Goddard is SC GOLD!!! The fact that he has averaged over 130 for a season, and had a shower season last year and STILL averaged nearly 110 is ridiculous.

Lids is a gun and should definitely be in your side by year's end, but Goddard has been my first picked player for the past 3 years.

+1 Both players should be first picked in Def.  Do not be put off with both having bye in Round 13 as they are other possibilities for your next defence. IMO these will 1 & 2 in Defence this year.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Yeah I got Birchall atm and he shares the same byes as Goddard and Lids so I didn't want all 3 or else it would be hard as to cover. Birchall is cheaper as well but probably won't score as high. Bit tight on cash, it will be hard to upgrade Birchall to either Lids or Goddard.
