Fwds too heavy with round 13 bye byes.

Maric - really?

Ablett and Murphy share a bye.

Defence looks like a sieve.

Seen better.

Not greeeen yet.

Cheers

Forwards: You have 4 prems with bye in Round 13 (Buddy, Martin and 2 Roos) Can you cope with this as league rounds will be played during that round. Look at prems with Round 11 or Round 12 byes - Pav, Fyfe, Johnson, Harvey etc. for replacements.
Rucks: West will be a better proposition than maric with this strategy.
Mids: Maybe a bit heavy with 4 prems over $600k.
Def: Very weak in this area. Hurn at D3 risky. Will he average 100+ for season.

Defence seems to have suffered as a result of 4 super prems. Just look at reworking team.

Currently 6.5/10.

It is not awful, I agree with MOST aforementioned comments. But looking at the team - I am wondering where all your money has gone :/

Good point, however Im thinking dropping one game can be covered if you dominate the rest of the rounds.. It will save me trades in the long run if im lucky or give me more trade options if push comes to shove..

West is in! Thanks, makes good sense! , I was a bit iffy on Maric, I still think he'll be sharing game time through the season, but definitely has potential to be a key tap man at tigerland, so could regret that..

The mids are the engine room of any good SC side in my opinion, and it's better to get the keepers in now while free (trades = longterm success) Captain Selwood's suspension put a dent in his SC standings last year, I think he's very we'll priced and could have been much more expensive... Joel McDonald is a starter, his price is the real bonus, they will share the ball a lot at GWS and McDonald has good exp getting younger team members involved due to his Captaincy spell at the Dees...

I agree, the Defence will be my area to build over the season.. I think Hurn will tear it up this year, he's the go-to man in WCE defence and has a super kick that can break the press style so many teams have adopted, with Cox, Kennedy or NicNat on the end of them peeling off the back of zones - expect heaps of goal assists and effective disposals.. Phil Davis is the player GWS will build a defence around, he's taking his game to a new level and had some good scores at Adelaide. There's also a fair chance the ball will be in that area of the ground a fair bit of the game one might add!

Cheers for the responses!

Dougherty and Morris are still to be decided at this stage - any alternative suggestions appreciated, I have $40,100 in the kitty..
