Jukes

Been a lock since November. Will average 90+.

Windigo

Doesn't suit my back line strategy.

His a very safe option though!  ;)

matt1985

Had him in my team for a long time, but swapped him for Birchell today. Would happily have had Hep, but had extra coin so made the swap. I think you can't go wrong having Heppell.

He will get tagged too much for my liking  ;)    ;D

Mozza3

People talk about 2nd year blues but this guys looks like he can step it up again.

A fine option.
Think he'll pull out another mid 80's average.
Better GUN options and VALUE options around imo.
Doesn't fit my strategy anyway.

The F.A.R.K.

what ele??

surely he is a lock

even if he only improves by 5 points on last year like most second year players he will still be av 85+ if he adds another 10 to 15 like dudtin martin last year we are looking at 90-95 av and if he  does a fyfe and adds 25-30 points he will be averaging 110.

My tip is he will ave 90-95. He plays defence/midfield and is already a leader at the dons he will just be a jet. No second year blues

What FARK??

No he isn't a lock

While he may improve by 5 or so points he could just as easily cop more attention OR be played in the middle where less cheap ball can be found which is what he had a lot of the time last year OR be made to play a more defensive role in the backline.

I doubt very highly he will improve like Martin and certainly like Fyfe.

with all due respect how doesn't he fit your structure? There are shower all decent backs this year plus he has a round 12 bye instead of 13 and heppel is one of a very few who i can't really fault (2nd year blues is a myth). Surely he will improve his avg by 5 or so making him a great choice in a position where good buys are few and far between.

I agree that there aren't many great options in the backline as far as premiums go this year but I have Heath Shaw + Jack Grimes (will be watching closely tonight) and Marty Clarke missing in round 12 from my top 7 backline...

Well unlike you i don't have shaw but i have grimes and clarke missing from my backline in round 12 but there is a decent chance clarke won't be in your backline come round 12 though. (same goes for shaw if he does something stupid again :P)

Fair enough.
This is why Heppell doesn't fit my and Windigo strategy though. Hope I made my point :)

The F.A.R.K.

well id drop grimes and get heppell. He will definately improve slightly all second year players do it is just everyone expects a 20 point ppg increase but all they get is a 5-10 ppg increase except special cases like martin/fyfe
