Been toying with the DT. Got Hamish as number two ruck ATM.

I'm looking for a 4th defender. Personally, Mackie is my favorite. Huge upside and very consistent and we know he can average 90+. Grimes is number 5.

Thanks for the input.  ;)

I didn't vote the Duffman, but don't you love him?

pavs nose

the duff for me cobber. if he is in the right role he can do well and with st kildas history of high scoring defenders, surely rossy coaching will only help him. also i didn't realise mackie had been around for so long...going into his 9th season and 28 years old. maybe its because he looks like a little boy

As a Wce supporter I would say Waters but I dont want to send you off to the wrong track as he might get injured.
I would go with Briank Lake though and at his price he is a bargain and will reap the cash BUT, he had a shocking year last year so keep that in mind but look at his average's before that and consider for yourself.
Malceski is also a very good pick for someone under the price you mentioned but its down to what you think is best to do.

I do. But his two NAB games looked like a bad omen.

DOWN.......UP......And son on.

Duff provides the best value. Next week in a full game I'll be looking at him closely.

Mackie is getting on a bit.  :P

Duffield for mine. Have you considered N Smith as #5? Would free you up $40k-ish to spend on #4?

Torpedo10

I'd go Waters. Nick Smith would be a good buy and very unique.

Jukes

Nicky Smith? Hm, you got me thinking now.....

Hargrave and $$$

Not buying into him just yet. Needs more solid scores to get me interested.

All choices could pay off but then asin they my not work..,

Mozza3

Duff and Mackie have proven in the past they can score well. I think Duff can get back to his best this year under Lyon.

All choices could pay off but then again they may not work..,
You could say that about every player you pick. Dane Swan may pay off, or he may not work. Just the odds are different. ;)

nick malceski.

So dodgy. Scores well. But really is too much of a risk IMO.

My tactic for the defense is 3 premiums and 2 mid pricers and 2 rookies.
